Beuys meets Immendorff, Polke und Co.

Borken. Auf der Suche nach einem Mann, der Fett und Filz in die Museen brachte und in einer Kunstaktion dem toten Hasen die Bilder erklärte: Joseph Beuys. Seit Sonntag präsentiert der Kunstverein Borken - artline und mehr e.V. im Stadtmuseum Borken eine Ausstellung mit Arbeiten von Joseph Beuys, Uwe Claus, Jürgen Holtschke, Jörg Immendorff, Stefan Kaiser, Jürgen Kramer, Sigmar Polke, Norbert Tadeusz.

Kunstverein Borken - artline und mehr e.V präsentiert die Ausstellung - Beuys und Schüler - im Stadtmuseum Borken


Zu Lebzeiten wurde er gehasst und verehrt wie ein Messias. Der am 12. Mai 1921 in Krefeld geborene Beuys, gilt bis heute als einer der bedeutensten Künstler des 20. Jahrhunderts und war ein ideal-typischer Gegenspieler von Andy Warhol. Die nach 1964 entstandenen Arbeiten auf Papier verstand Beuys als sogenannte "Partituren".


"Jeder Mensch ist Künstler, jeder Mensch ist ein Kreativer.", Joseph Beuys.

Beuys’ Werke sind Sinngeneratoren und wo der Name fällt, scheint der Streit über Kunst vorbestimmt. So reinigten zwei Frauen 1973 bei einer geselligen Feier des SPD-Ortsvereins Leverkusen-Alkenrath eine von Beuys mit Mullbinden und Heftpflastern versehene Badewanne für Babys - um darin Gläser zu spülen. Für Aufsehen sorgte auch die Fettecke von Beuys, den 1986 in der Düsseldorfer Kunstakademie bei Putzarbeiten einfach weggewischt wurde.

Im Februar 2012 rief die Stiftung Museum Schloss Moyland den Bundesgerichtshof (BGH) als höchste Instanz an. In dem Rechtsstreit geht es um ein Ausstellungsverbot von Fotos einer Live-Aktion von Beuys.

Im April 2012 war ein vom Beuys-Schüler Jürgen Holitschke installiertes Fahrrad vom Borkener Markplatz veschwunden. Einfach weg.

Inge Schlesing, Witwe des Malers Heiner, hat den Nachlass ihres Mannes dem Stadtmuseum Borken für eine Ausstellung zur Verfügung gestellt. Am Sonntag wurde die Ausstellung eröffnet. Als Heiner Schlesing 1992 verstirbt, hinterlässt er ein Oeuvre von 900 Gemälden, Zeichnungen und Skizzen.
